Make sure you visit the ATM before going through immigration. Once in the arrivals area ATMs are limited, particuarly if you have Mastercard rather than Visa. Since we visited 5 years ago certain Indian banks do not seem to support Mastercard debit/credit cards. Also at this point you can't exchange money using a credit card unless you are an Indian national....cash only exchange

Getting to Mandore Gardens is very easy: from the clock tower, go about 1 KM down the main street until you reach the main junction (with traffic-light). From this point, bus #1 till take you directly to the gardens entrance (10 INR, 20 minutes), other busses (ask the drivers) will drop you on the main road, which is only 200 meters away from the gardens. A relaxed visit to the gardens, museum and fort would take you about 2.5 hours.
We enjoyed the trip to the gardens on the local mini-bus. To catch the bus go down past clocktower to Sijata gate and turn left to bus stops, and get on 1, 5 or 7. Fare is 10 R and bus stops in large square so you can't miss your stop.

Sadar Bazaar
Migliori negozi / stand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCgeXlSacws
Sadar Bazaar is located at the western side of Khari Baoli market and is known as the largest wholesale market of household items in Delhi. Like the other markets in Old Delhi, this market place is perpetually crowded owing to the massive volumes that are traded here on a daily basic and hence it is always alive and buzzing with brisk activity. Besides being a wholesale market, it also caters to the occasional retail shoppers looking for a smaller portion of products to buy.
Sadar Bazaar was initially established in Delhi as a small covered market area to cater to the daily needs and necessities of the local residents living in the neighbouring and nearby areas. As time went by, this market place expanded exponentially both in space and the number of goods and items retailed here. Today, this market place is seen divided into various sub markets such as Pratap Market, Swadeshi Market and Timber Market. The commercial property rates are extremely high due to its fame and preference hence, most of the shops seen here are old shops that were owned by the ancestors of the current shopkeepers.
Sadar Bazaar homes shops that retail several other items such as toys, imitation jewellery and stationary products and many others that are retailed at lower prices that is offered at a higher price in any other shopping mall in Delhi. A must visit is just before the famous festival of lights called ‘Diwali’ wherein this market place transforms into a main supply source for crackers and electric light products. Crackers are retailed at economical prices every year before this festival. Price Negotiations and Bargain is not an option here while buying crackers as it is extremely crowded and leaves no space for any conversation with the shop keepers. The street stalls lined along the pathway also refuses any price bargains during this period. Unique Sky rockets are retailed here at a very high price of Rs. 8,500.00 which is negotiable to a certain extent.
Sadar Bazaar also homes several restaurants and food outlets that serve a variety of authentic Indian food, delicacies and all types of sweets. Narrow lanes are lined with several food stalls that serve snacks and also a number of small shops that retails Chinese products, shoes, garments and leather items, electronic and consumer goods and many more.
Sadar Bazaar market remains open from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM on all days except on Sundays. The market can be reached via road by public transport such as DTC Buses, Auto Rickshaws and Taxi Cabs that can be hired from any corner of Delhi. One can also use the Delhi Metro facility and de-board at Chandni Chowk and then hire a cycle rickshaw to arrive at this market place. The Old Delhi Railway Station is also situated very close to this market area.
When it comes to savouring street food, tourists are usually advised to try the eateries in Old Delhi, especially on Paranthe Wali Gali. But you can taste some equally delicious food at the various dhabas (roadside food stalls) at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Not only is the food here tasty and inexpensive, the university campus is serene and uncrowded. Try the North East Dhaba for Chinese and Northeast Indian dishes, the Shambhu Dhaba for Bengali delicacies and the Mughal Darbar for kebabs. The university students also claim that Ganga Dhaba serves one of the best cuppa you’ll find in all of Delhi.

The narrow streets behind Jama Masjid are a crazy maze of overcrowded lanes bursting with colourful markets. There are a number of different bazaars here, each specialising in different wares, but the area is generally known as Kinari Bazaar as many of the lanes fan out from Kinari Bazaar Rd. You’ll find clothing, shoes, fabrics, jewellery, spices, marble work, snack stalls and what seems like 20 million other people.
Amazingly, there is somehow room for buffaloes and even the odd working elephant to squeeze their way through the crowds. Even if you’re not buying anything, just walking the streets is an experience in itself.

I suggest to use the airport bus (A1 or A2) which is relatively cheap for only 30bhat/person. A1 and A2 buses can be found at the exit of airport, it is an orange bus and kinda old but still airconditioned, the payment would be made inside through the bus conductor. It both stops at Mo chit bts station, which could only take 20-30mins depending on the traffic. from there you could take the bts skytrain to your location. If you’re location at bangkok city is at Siam or Chitlom which is the city center. It would probably cost only around 30-40bhat. The travel time would probably only take about an hour or less.

There are a few resorts here, two small original family run bungalow resorts and a newly opened luxury hotel. The bay can be accessed via a very steep concrete road, or you can reach it walking twenty minutes along the shore from Chalok Baan Kao and Saan Jao Beach
Video recensione
https://www.beach-inspector.com/en/b/june-juea-beach
June Juea is not easy to find and travellers need to plan their journey well. The small bay is definitely the most well hidden on the west coast of Koh Tao. There is not much space on the small sandy areas between the rocks and trees, but the crystal clear water, the lovely clean sand and the idyllic atmosphere are great for spending a couple of relaxed days in the remote location here. June Juea is ideal for anybody looking to stay somewhere quiet away from the hustle and bustle.
June Juea Beach - A hidden idyll of Koh Taos west coast
If you are planning to go to the lovely bay of June Juea you will need to study the map very carefully, as the beach is so hard to find and if you head here by scooter the journey can get very adventurous. Between Chalok Baan Kao and Mae Haad you have to travel over a steep hill through the jungle until you can turn left. From there you will need to concentrate, as the signposting is very poor and you are almost certain to lose your way. However, if you do manage to find your way here, you will think that the effort was worthwhile when you see the small dream bay.
Two small sandy areas are hidden between rocks, trees and bushes, amongst which a few flowers can be seen in marvellous colours. You will see some holidaymakers who have managed to secure themselves one of the few loungers and relaxing is what you do at June Juea. You can also walk on a small wooden pathway until you reach the rocks which make it clear that this is the end of the beach. You can then enjoy swimming in the wonderfully clear, calm sea here. There is also a quirky small bar where the barkeeper offers his few guests delicious drinks, but otherwise there is not much else happening here. Those coming to June Juea should certainly be aware that this nice bay is very much off the beaten track.
The beach is ideal for couples looking for peace and quiet, as they can find everywhere here a secluded spot to enjoy the whole day at the beach.

hian Og is a lovely, quiet place to come and relax. It is known as ‘Shark Bay’ due to the blacktip reef sharks that frequent here. An entrance fee is charged. You can also visit the bay by boat or kayak. Alternative ways of access can be found via a few resorts in Chalok Baan Kao Bay’s east coast that connect to Shark Bay’s west shore (not at the beach). This area is also a shark nursery where young sharks can be seen at certain times of the year. There are larger sharks, and to see them you need to swim out about 250 metres from the beach to where it drops down deeper to 3 – 4 metres. They are more likely to be found around the east shore close to Sai Daeng Beach.
Look out for green turtles as well, as these live in Shark Bay too and are amazing to see. A few of them are huge, larger than a metre long. They are friendly and not afraid of humans and can sometimes swim very close to you. Please be sure to not touch them as bacteria on our skin can greatly affect their health and can cause them harm. Though the coral reef in the bay was vastly destroyed by El Nino in 1998, Shark Bay is the only place where you can find turtles every day
__
With its palm-trees hanging over the water and its powdery, white sand, Shark Bay in the south of the island of Koh Tao is one of the most popular bays of the island. This picture postcard beach has a very special attraction. All year round you can see sharks swimming in the sea and they even come right up to the shoreline. It is no surprise considering how close the beach is to Shark Island, which is a popular destination for divers. If you are looking for cheap accommodation here you will be disappointed, as the bungalow sites attract mainly honeymooners and families with more exclusive tastes
Both on various beach maps and in the literature the Thian Og Bay in the south of the Thai island Koh Tao is described as a white postcard beach with countless, lush coconut palms - if one considers however the alternative name of the small dream bay, Shark Bay, one becomes clear, why above all snorkeling and diving friends come gladly into this small paradise: You can watch sharks here all year round!
The beautiful bay is only a few meters long and gives a fantastic picture as soon as you have overcome the rather adventurous drive over the high mountains: It soon becomes clear that you are on one of the most beautiful beaches on Koh Tao. At just under 400 metres, the palm trees line up close together. The lush green tropical plants are accompanied by a fine sandy lying surface. The sand is powdered sugar white and just as soft and invites you to take a leisurely stroll, while the bright, crystal-clear water with its foamy spray breaks against a fantastic rocky backdrop. Along the beach you can climb some viewpoints and enjoy a picturesque view of this spectacular bay.
Although the clear, turquoise shining water invites you to take a bath, you should be a little careful. In the months of December to April, the undercurrent can often be very sensational. A clear demarcation in the front swimming area therefore indicates this: This far and no further. For your own safety, please follow these guidelines. In any case, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the white sandy beach and the bay framing it while swimming.
A special highlight on Koh Tao in general and in Shark Bay in particular are of course the sharks you can see here: In the morning our sea friends hide at the eastern part of the small bay, in the afternoon you will find them more in the west. You have to be patient when snorkeling, because no shark swims in front of the lens just like that. However, these small reef sharks do not represent a danger and so far there have been no incidents worth considering.
To really enjoy the natural spectacle under water, you should definitely bring your snorkel. If you have forgotten it, you can rent appropriate equipment in some of the restaurants on the beach. Although diving in Shark Bay is especially worthwhile, you won't find a diving school on the beach. However, you can book a tour to Shark Bay with various water sports providers in the region. The diving schools do not stop at the beach, however, but at a large rock in front of it, which has the shape of a shark fin with a lot of imagination. The name says it all: Many reef sharks romp under water and feel at home in the confusion and confusion of the rock under water.
Restaurants and beach bars, which all belong to the adjacent holiday resorts, take care of your physical well-being on the beach. Beside chic restaurants you will also find some bungalow complexes on the beach, which look a bit more chic overall: Families with high standards and newlyweds feel at home here during their honeymoon. However, you will also meet many backpackers who like to take the exciting ride through the mountains of Koh Tao to catch a glimpse of the gorgeous bay in the form of a day trip.

In my opinion the easiest way from Koh Tao Resort to Shark Bay (Thian Og Bay) is through New Heaven Resort, you walk to the resort, go down the stairs to the beach (a lot of steps!), when you are on the beach turn left!

Trains are supposed to arrive at Mae Klong at 8.30 - 11.10 - 14.30 and 17.40 and there are also trains leaving Mae Klong train station at the beginning of the market at 6.20 - 9.00 -11.30 and 15.30.
Note that the trains are not always on time in Thailand, if you plan to come here to see the train arrival in the market, plan to stay at least one hour after the arrival time.
COME ARRIVARE da Bangkok
The easiest way to get to Mae Klong Railway Market from Bangkok is to take a bus or van to Samut Songkhram from Bangkok Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai). Samut Songkram bus station is a 5-minutes walk from the part of the railway where the famous market is located. You can also come here by train from Wongwian Yai station in Bangkok. From there, take the train to Mahachai (1 hour - 10 THB) then walk 5 minutes to the pier to cross the river (3 THB) then walk 5 minutes to Ban Laem station to take the train to Mae Klong (1 hour - 10 THB). You will then be on the train that passes in the middle of the market. Look timetables carefully because there are only 4 trains to Mae Klong per day.

The minivans back to Bangkok are located in a parking garage off the main street. We checked with the minivan drivers parked on the main street and they pointed us in the right direction. Three buses left when we were there in the parking garage and we only waited around 10 minutes for our seat.
___
Alcuni portano a Mo Chit Bus Station e altri a Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai Bus station). Scegliere MoChit Bus se possibile. Poi da lì andare in hotel. Linea Verde?
